Conflict Recovery Conference – Edinburgh
SHIP Trustees and Staff organised and delivered a conference on post-conflict recovery for people ( NGOs and Peacekeepers) who have been traumatised in the course of their work in conflict areas. Presenters covered subjects like:

The Mark Wright Project
The Mark Wright Project originally evolved as a project of SHIP in September 2008, but has now been established as an independent Scottish Charity: SC040690. The Mark Wright Project will promote and develop positive mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing through the provision of a wide range of physical, sport, adventure, recreational and social activities and opportunities, to assist in addressing and improving mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing outcomes for ex service men and women. - Establish a Residential SHIP Centre for Conferences Training and Administration.
- Fund Academic Internship Scheme – Europe, Middle East, South East Asia, Latin America.
- Build Post Graduate Study Links with Overseas Universities.
- Build an Online Database of our Academic and Practical Projects with updates.
- Provide Conflict Analysis Reports and Peace Practitioners for a Client Base
